This project was carried out by the London Teaching Public Health Network (LTPHN) on behalf of RPHG.
LTPHN has worked with individual PCTs to gain an overview of the Weight Management Programmes (WMP) currently commissioned in London, and the extent to which these have been evaluated – in order to develop advice to PCTs and RPHG to support effective future commissioning.
The project has also developed a database of current WMP to enable PCTs and other interested parties to share evidence of effective approaches.
